ER16 8 Pocket Premium

Patent Pending RapidChange ATC Magazines allow for the use of cutting tools with a maximum diameter of 16mm for ER16 collets and is designed for A Type clamping nuts.

The ER16 8 Premium Magazine is equipped with 8 tool  positions. It allows for safe unattended use by employing our innovative tool recognition sensor. It also includes a flexible clear vinyl cover that seals tight to the motor housings providing a good seal against dust and debris.

The RapidChange ATC Magazine is machined from tough HDPE employing our unique patent pending spring loaded socket design. It works with your CNC and common spindle to allow smooth and reliable tool changes out of the box. Aside from a tool setter and the ability to run your spindle in reverse for unloading tools it can be used as a stand alone unit with no inputs or outputs required.

Macros for integrated motion control platforms as well as g code templates for writing your own macros can be downloaded from the website after purchase.

3D Probe Adapters for use with the supported 3D Probe allowing it to be used as a tool setter. You also have the option to utilize any external tool touch off device you prefer. 3D Probe NOT INCLUDED.

The following is included with the complete magazine:
1 Base Magazine machined from tough HDPE.
A MEAN WELL RD-35B 5v-24v combo power supply for the IR sensor and the stepper driver.
5v IR sensor for tool recognition.
Dust Cover assembly with aviation connector and 6 meter cable.
M6 socket head cap screws for mounting the magazine.
2 Nema 17 stepper motors & 1 TB6600 stepper diver to drive the dust cover.
A 5v Interface Control Board allowing control via an available output pin on the motion controller (pulling the signal wire to Gnd will activate the dust cover to open).
It can also be controlled with a limit switch on one axis so that the dust cover opens as the spindle moves into position. Additionally it can also be wired in parallel to a rocker switch providing manual control even if used with an output pin.
