What size spindle collet?
Measure your collet nut or check your spindle spec sheet.
Use digital calipers to measure across the flats of your collet nut. Match that measurement to the table below.
Look up your spindle model in your machine manual or on the manufacturer's website. The ER collet standard will be listed in the spindle specifications.

Solo Tool Changer
This CNC Manual Tool Changer allows you to change endmills without the use of wrenches or additional tools. Simply place the next endmill into the tool holder, and the spindle automatically comes down to pick up the tool. When machining with that tool is complete, the spindle returns it to the holder before picking up the next one.
Designed to simplify tool changes and reduce downtime, this system makes swapping endmills quick, repeatable, and user-friendly. By eliminating manual tightening and loosening with wrenches, it improves workflow efficiency while reducing the risk of tool damage or improper tightening.
When paired with a tool setter, setup becomes even faster. You only need to set your Z-zero for the first tool; all subsequent tools are automatically measured by the tool setter, and the correct tool length offsets are applied. This ensures consistent cutting depth across tools without the need for manual re-zeroing.
Ideal for hobbyists, prototyping, and small production runs, this manual tool changer offers a practical step toward automated-style tool changes without the complexity or cost of a full automatic tool changer.

The Solo is a fixed single-pocket ATC — there are no options to choose. Same proven socket geometry as the full magazine, ships ready to install.
Configure your Tower ATC.
One Control Tower is always included ($400, 4 pockets). Add Expansion Towers at $200 each — 4 pockets per tower, up to 20 towers total. Works with a dust boot on.
